We’re gearing up for the Big Game in 2023 by hosting Super Soul parties throughout the united states.
Join us as we create a safe space for people who are experiencing homelessness. Come connect, laugh, eat and enjoy a meaningful evening by volunteering with us.
On a frigid night in 2017, Meir Kay, the film director, breathwork facilitator and social media activist, was walking in Midtown Manhattan. He saw a man holding a cardboard sign
The man wasn’t asking for money.
The man wasn’t asking for food.
The man wasn’t asking for a drink.
He was asking to be seen.
Someone heard this man’s plea. This someone was Meir Kay who connected with this man by giving him attention, care, and a hot meal. It was that touch of humanity that we all sometimes need. This encounter resulted in the birth of Super Bowl parties for people without homes.
Super Soul Party is dedicated to uniting communities and creating a safe space for people who are experiencing homelessness. We focus on the HOME and not the LESS by facilitating moments of connection between guests with homes and without, serving hot, nourishing food, giving warm clothing, offering haircuts and providing housing and social services at every event. While the fabric of society is busy being woven from communal connection during America’s most popular unofficial holiday (the Super Bowl), those without homes are sidelined for so many of the events which unite us as a society. Super Soul Party breaks barriers between some of the most unseen people as we come together to cheer for dignity and celebrate community.
